For over 130 years, Bucyrus was arguably the most iconic name among manufacturers of excavation equipment in the world. In the 130 years of its existence, the equipment that was designed, manufactured, and erected by Bucyrus International, Inc. could be found at nearly every major excavation site and surface mine in the world. From blasthole drills and loading shovels to the largest draglines ever built. Even today, Bucyrus machines are still found on six continents.
